Salter Art and Appraisals was established in 2002 as a full service art appraisal, consulting, and brokerage practice. Our company provides private, corporate, and institutional clients with certified art advisory services, which include appraising, brokering and authenticating historical, modern and contemporary art. Salter Art And Appraisals works closely with the Institute for Diagnostic Imaging assisting Museum’s worldwide with non-invasive authentication services and regularly brokers artwork for clients to Sotheby’s, Bonhams and Butterfields and Waddingtons Auction Houses.
Mandy Salter is an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers, specializing in the valuation of modern and contemporary sculpture, painting, and works on paper. She holds an MFA in Art and Art History from the University of Miami, Florida and has twenty years of experience working within the high paced gallery scene of Miami, New York and Toronto. Salter has shared her passion and knowledge regarding the history of art as the Curator of Contemporary Art for the Art Gallery of Windsor and the Collections Manager for the Ydessa Hendeles Foundation of Art and has taught art history with various universities in the United States and the West Indies.
