Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario – Ashley graduated from the University of Windsor with a BA Honours in Visual Art and Art History. She then completed her Masters in Library and Information Sciences at Western University in London, Ontario. She currently resides in Windsor, Ontario.

She works in acrylic paint, fiber art (embroidered paintings and embroidery hoops) and gel prints. She is inspired by shapes and nature and aims to create a sense of comfort and serenity when viewing her work.

Her work presents itself in clean, simple shapes. Her paintings are primarily acrylic. Serene, cool and earth toned colours play a dominant role in her work. In her paintings you will find layers upon layers of acrylic paint washes, drippings of water and gel print collage.
