Valentina Stafferton was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She is a self-taught abstract, multimedia artist who uses striking black and white drawings and raw materials like string, beads, silver leaf and resin to bring texture and dimension to her works. Often drawing inspiration from nature and memories, Valentina's multi-layered process is always a meditative and soul-enriching journey as each piece comes together.
Valentina is an Audiologist with degrees from the University of Windsor and Wayne State University. She has her own practice called Sound Hearing Care in the town of Tecumseh, and also teaches pilates.
